Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Brown Rice

Rinse the brown rice under cold water. In a medium saucepan, combine the rinsed rice with 2 cups of water and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for about 45 minutes or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Sea Bass

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the sea bass fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with olive oil, lemon juice, and season with salt and black pepper. Top each fillet with crushed macadamia nuts, pressing gently to adhere.

  3. 3

    Bake the Sea Bass

Bake the sea bass in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the nuts are golden brown.

  4. 4

    Sauté the Vegetables

While the fish is baking, heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the seasonal vegetables and sauté for about 5-7 minutes or until they are tender but still vibrant in color. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. 5

    Serve

To serve, place a portion of brown rice on each plate, top with a baked sea bass fillet, and arrange the sautéed seasonal vegetables on the side.
