Bread Pudding Directions
- 1
Prepare the Bread
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut the day-old bread into cubes and place them in a large mixing bowl.
- 2
Mix Wet Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
- 3
Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet mixture over the cubed bread, ensuring all the bread is soaked. Gently fold in the diced pears, chopped dried apricots, raisins, and chopped walnuts.
- 4
Bake the Pudding
Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- 5
Serve
Allow the bread pudding to cool slightly before serving. Drizzle warm caramel sauce over the top before serving.
