Caribbean Dipping Sauce

Method

Sweet Potato Chips Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure it is hot enough to make crispy chips.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Sweet Potatoes

Wash and peel the sweet potatoes. Slice them thinly (about 1/8 inch thick) using a mandoline or a sharp knife.

  3. 3

    Season the Sweet Potatoes

In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato slices with olive oil, salt, paprika, and black pepper until evenly coated.

  4. 4

    Bake the Chips

Spread the sweet potato slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.

  5. 5

    Cool the Chips

Remove the chips from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack for a few minutes before serving.

Caribbean Dipping Sauce Preparation

  1. 6

    Mix the Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, mango chutney, lime juice, and chopped cilantro.

  2. 7

    Season the Sauce

Add salt to taste and mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

  3. 8

    Serve

Transfer the dipping sauce to a serving bowl and serve alongside the sweet potato chips.
