Steak Filling Ingredients

Method

Prepare the Steak Filling

  1. 1

    Slice the Steak

Thinly slice the ribeye steak against the grain into strips. This will help the meat to be tender and easy to chew.

  2. 2

    Cook the Vegetables

In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the sliced onion and green bell pepper. Sauté until they are soft and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Increase the heat to high, and add the sliced steak. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Cook for about 3-5 minutes until the steak is browned but still tender. Return the vegetables to the skillet and mix well.

Assemble the Wrap

  1. 4

    Prepare the Tortillas

Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet over low heat for about 30 seconds on each side, or until pliable.

  2. 5

    Add Cheese and Filling

Lay a slice of provolone cheese on each tortilla. Spoon a quarter of the steak and vegetable mixture onto the cheese.

  3. 6

    Wrap It Up

Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top to enclose the filling.

Serve

  1. 7

    Cut and Serve

Slice the wraps in half and serve warm. Enjoy your Philly Cheese Steak Wrap!
