Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on one side of each slice of rye bread.

Assembly

  1. 3

    Assemble the Sandwich

On the unbuttered side of four slices of rye bread, layer the following: 1/4 pound of corned beef, 2 slices of Swiss cheese, 1/4 cup of sauerkraut, and 1/4 cup of Thousand Island dressing.

    Top with Bread

Place the remaining four slices of rye bread on top, buttered side facing out.
