Cuban Sandwich

In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the shrimp, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp are pink and opaque.

While the shrimp are cooking, warm the corn tortillas in a separate skillet over low heat for about 1-2 minutes on each side, or until pliable.

To assemble the tacos, place a portion of shrimp on each tortilla. Top with shredded cabbage, chopped cilantro, and a drizzle of sour cream or avocado sauce.

Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thick chips. Rinse the chips in cold water and pat them dry with a towel.

Prepare the Chips

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

Preheat the Oil

Carefully add the potato chips to the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels, and season with salt.

In a bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt. Gradually whisk in the cold sparkling water until the batter is smooth.

Dip each fish fillet into the batter, making sure it is fully coated. Carefully place the battered fish in the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Serve the fish hot with the chips, malt vinegar, and tartar sauce on the side.

Preheat your oven and bake the frozen French fries according to the package instructions until they are crispy and golden brown.

Heat the pulled pork in a saucepan over medium heat until warmed through, stirring occasionally.

Once the fries are ready, place them on a large serving platter or individual plates. Pour the cheese sauce evenly over the fries.

Assemble the Loaded Fries

Layer the warm pulled pork on top of the cheese sauce, then add spoonfuls of pico de gallo. Drizzle BBQ sauce over the top.

Add Toppings

Finish with chopped green onions and jalapeños for extra flavor. Serve immediately.

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Gently form the meat into two equal-sized patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each to prevent puffing while cooking.

Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. If using a skillet, you can add a little oil to prevent sticking.

Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side until browned. Flip the patties and cook for another 3 minutes. Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

While the patties are cooking, cut the burger buns in half and toast them on the grill or in the skillet until golden brown.

On the bottom half of each bun, layer lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles. Add the cooked burger patty with melted cheese on top, then drizzle ketchup and mustard to taste. Top with the other half of the bun.

Serve the burgers immediately, with fries or chips if desired.

Slice the Cuban bread in half lengthwise.

Prepare the Bread

Spread yellow mustard on the inside of both halves of the bread. Layer the sliced ham, pulled pork, Swiss cheese, and dill pickles evenly on one half of the bread.

Place the other half of the bread on top to close the sandwich.

Spread butter on the outside of the sandwich.

Preheat a pan or sandwich press over medium heat. Place the sandwich on the grill and press down. Cook for about 3-5 minutes on each side, or until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted.
