Make the Chutney
In a saucepan, combine pears, apples, onion, brown sugar, cider vinegar, ginger, cinnamon, and salt. Cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the fruit is soft and the mixture thickens.

Prepare the Sweet Potato Puree
Boil sweet potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and return to pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and nutmeg. Mash until smooth and creamy.

On a plate, serve the pork chop topped with pear and apple chutney alongside the sweet potato puree and grilled asparagus.
