Directions

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the campanelle pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Sauce

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. 3

    Add Tomatoes

Stir in the crushed tomatoes, and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

  4. 4

    Incorporate Cream

Reduce the heat to low, and add the heavy cream and lobster butter to the sauce. Stir until well combined and heated through.

  5. 5

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked campanelle pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from heat, and stir in the fresh basil. Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.
