Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chimichurri

In a bowl, mix together chopped parsley, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, oregano, red wine vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Steak

Rub the steak with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.

  3. 3

    Cook the Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes. Boil them in salted water for about 15-20 minutes until tender. Drain and return to the pot.

  4. 4

    Mash the Potatoes

Add garlic, butter, and milk to the potatoes. Mash until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. 5

    Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to high heat. Grill the steak for 5-7 minutes on each side for medium rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.

  6. 6

    Cook the Asparagus

Toss the asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Grill for about 5-7 minutes until tender and slightly charred.

  7. 7

    Serve

Slice the steak and serve it with chimichurri sauce on top, accompanied by garlic mashed potatoes (or fries) and grilled asparagus.
