Fries Preparation Instructions

1

Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.

2

Soak the Potatoes

Place the cut potatoes in a bowl of cold water and let them soak for at least 30 minutes. This helps to remove excess starch.

3

Dry the Potatoes

Drain the water and pat the potatoes dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

4

Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

5

Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the dried potato strips to the hot oil in batches, frying them until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per batch.

6

Drain and Season

Use a slotted spoon to remove the fries from the oil and drain them on paper towels. While still hot, sprinkle with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

7

Serve

Serve the fries hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
