Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Braised Chuck

In a slow cooker, add the braised chuck roast and season it with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Cook on low for 6-8 hours until tender. Once cooked, shred the meat using two forks.

2

Caramelize the Onions

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add thinly sliced onions and a pinch of salt. Cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onions are golden brown and caramelized.

3

Assemble the Cheesesteak

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In each sub roll, layer the shredded braised chuck, caramelized onions, and top with provolone cheese slices.

4

Melt the Cheese

Place the assembled sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

5

Serve

Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then slice in half and serve immediately.
