Method

Brownie Directions

1

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan (8x8 inches) or line it with parchment paper.

2

Melt Chocolate and Butter

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate and unsalted butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted and smooth.

3

Mix in Sugars and Eggs

Stir granulated sugar and powdered sugar into the melted chocolate mixture until well combined. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

4

Combine Dry Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.

5

Bake the Brownies

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

6

Cool and Serve

Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Cut into squares and serve warm with scoops of ice cream on top.
