Mix Dry Ingredients

Combine Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted unsalted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients bowl. Stir gently until just combined. Be careful not to over-mix; some lumps are okay.
Cook Pancakes

Heat the Pan
Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. You can lightly grease it with a little butter if desired.

Pour Batter
Using a ladle or measuring cup, pour about 1/4 cup of pancake batter onto the skillet for each pancake.

Cook Pancakes
Cook for about 2-3 minutes or until bubbles form on the surface of the pancake and the edges look set. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
Serve

Plate and Top
Remove the pancakes from the skillet and place them on a plate. Drizzle with maple syrup and top with fresh berries.
