Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Seafood
Rinse the oysters, clams, shrimp, and crab claws under cold running water to remove any dirt or debris.
- 2
Shuck the Oysters
Using an oyster knife, carefully shuck the oysters and place them on a platter. Discard the top shell.
- 3
Prepare the Clams
If using live clams, soak them in cold water for about 20 minutes to help purge any sand. After soaking, scrub the clams under cold water.
- 4
Boil the Shrimp
In a pot of salted boiling water, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove and shock in ice water to stop the cooking process.
- 5
Prepare the Crab Claws
If the crab claws are not pre-cooked, steam them for about 5-7 minutes until heated through. If they are pre-cooked, simply clean them under cold water.
Serving
- 6
Arrange the Seafood
On a large serving platter, arrange the oysters, clams, boiled shrimp, and crab claws aesthetically.
- 7
Garnish
Add lemon wedges, a small bowl of cocktail sauce, and a small bowl of hot sauce for dipping.
- 8
Serve
Serve immediately and enjoy your Boom Tower seafood platter with your guests.
