Method

Chicken

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, mix together the sweet chili sauce, minced garlic, soy sauce, lime juice, salt, and black pepper. This will serve as the marinade for the chicken.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Chicken

Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

  3. 3

    Cook the Chicken

Preheat your grill or oven. If grilling, cook the chicken on medium-high heat for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). If baking, place the chicken in a preheated 375°F (190°C) oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.

  4. 4

    Thicken the Sauce

Remove the chicken from the grill or oven. In a small saucepan, add the remaining marinade and bring it to a boil. Mix cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water and add it to the boiling marinade. Stir until the sauce thickens, then pour it over the chicken.

Dinner Rolls

  1. 5

    Activate the Yeast

In a bowl, combine warm water and sugar, then sprinkle the yeast over the top. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

  2. 6

    Make the Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and melted butter, then mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.

  3. 7

    First Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

  4. 8

    Shape the Rolls

Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a ball and place them in a greased baking dish, leaving space between each roll.

  5. 9

    Second Rise

Cover the rolls with a towel and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

  6. 10

    Bake the Rolls

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown. Brush with melted butter after baking if desired.
