Begin by selecting a suitable glass for your drink, preferably a rocks glass or an old-fashioned glass.

Fill the glass with ice cubes until it's about three-quarters full.

Measure 2 oz of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey using a jigger and pour it over the ice in the glass.
