Cupcake Base Preparation

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

Combine Mixtures
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.

Fill Cupcake Liners
Spoon the batter into the cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.

Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool
Remove from the oven and let the cupcakes cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Prosecco Frosting Preparation

Beat Butter
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy.

Add Sugar
Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing on low speed until combined.

Incorporate Prosecco
Pour in the Prosecco and vanilla extract, and beat on medium speed until the frosting is light and fluffy.

Adjust Consistency
If the frosting is too thick, add a little more Prosecco. If it's too thin, add more powdered sugar until the desired consistency is reached.
Assembly and Garnish

Frost the Cupcakes
Once the cupcakes have cooled completely, use a piping bag or a knife to frost each cupcake generously with the Prosecco frosting.

Add Garnish
Sprinkle edible glitter or sprinkles on top of the frosting and place half a fresh strawberry on each cupcake for garnish.

Serve the Cupcake Prosecco Split immediately and enjoy with a glass of chilled Prosecco!
