Method

Prepare the Pork

  1. 1

    Season the Pork

In a bowl, combine salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Rub this mixture all over the pork shoulder.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Slow Cooker

Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, and BBQ sauce on top of the pork.

  3. 3

    Cook the Pork

Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shredded with a fork.

Prepare the Dinner Rolls

  1. 4

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 5

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the butter and mix in garlic powder.

  3. 6

    Brush the Rolls

Place the dinner rolls on a baking sheet and brush the melted butter mixture over the top of each roll.

  4. 7

    Bake the Rolls

Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes or until they are golden brown.

Assemble the Sliders

  1. 8

    Shred the Pork

Once the pork is done cooking, remove it from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks.

  2. 9

    Fill the Rolls

Cut each dinner roll in half and fill with a generous portion of shredded pork.

  3. 10

    Add Toppings

Top with coleslaw and pickles if desired.

  4. 11

    Serve

Serve the sliders warm and enjoy!
