Build the drink
Fill a rocks glass (old-fashioned glass) with large ice cubes. Pour 1 oz Campari over the ice, then add 1 oz sweet vermouth.
Garnish and serve
Express the oils of an orange peel over the glass by holding the peel skin-side down and giving it a quick twist, then drop the peel (or place an orange wheel) into the drink. Serve immediately.
