Prepare the Crust
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, melted unsalted butter, and salt. Mix well until the crumbs are evenly coated.
- 2
Form the Crust
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan. Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until the crust is lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool.
Filling

Mix the Filling
In a large bowl, whisk together the egg yolks until smooth. Add the sweetened condensed milk and mix until well combined. Slowly stir in the key lime juice and lime zest, mixing until the filling is smooth and uniform.
- 4
Bake the Pie
Pour the filling into the cooled graham cracker crust. Bake in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes, or until the filling is set but still slightly jiggly in the center. Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature.
Topping

Prepare the Topping
In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add the powdered sugar and continue to whip until stiff peaks form.
- 6
Serve the Pie
Once the pie is cooled, spread the whipped cream topping over the pie. Garnish with additional lime zest if desired. Slice and serve chilled.
