Rinse the octopus under cold water to remove any dirt or debris. Remove the beak and any innards if necessary.

Cooking the Octopus
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the octopus and cook for about 45-60 minutes or until tender. Once cooked, remove from water and let it cool.

Marinating the Octopus
In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cut the cooled octopus into tentacles and marinate them in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Ensure the grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

Making the Aioli
In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt. Whisk together until smooth and well combined.
