Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Ingredients
Start by washing the heirloom tomatoes and fresh basil leaves thoroughly under running water. Pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel. Slice the heirloom tomatoes into wedges and set them aside.
- 2
Prepare the Burrata
Carefully remove the burrata from its packaging and let it sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes to soften. This will enhance its creamy texture.
- 3
Chop the Roasted Peppers
If using whole roasted peppers, chop them into strips or bite-sized pieces. Set aside.
Assembling the Salad
- 4
Layer the Ingredients
On a large serving platter, start by laying down the sliced heirloom tomatoes as the base. Then, gently place the burrata in the center.
- 5
Add Roasted Peppers
Distribute the chopped red roasted peppers around the burrata and tomatoes.
- 6
Top with Bruschetta and Jam
Spoon the bruschetta mixture evenly over the salad, and add dollops of seasonal fruit jam on top of the burrata for a sweet contrast.
- 7
Add Fresh Basil
Tear the fresh basil leaves and scatter them over the salad for added flavor and color.
- 8
Drizzle with Dressings
Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil and balsamic glaze over the entire salad for a delicious finish.
