    Preheat the Oven

    Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a baking dish.

    Mix Dry Ingredients

    In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and cardamom powder.

    Combine Wet Ingredients

    In another bowl, whisk together the apricot jam, milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

    Combine Mixtures

    Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

    Bake the Pudding

    Pour the batter into the greased baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean.

    Let it cool slightly before serving. Malva pudding is best served warm, optionally with cream or custard.
