Preparation

1

Prepare the Rub

In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper to create the rub.

2

Season the Meats

Rub the mixture evenly over the pork ribs, chicken thighs, and brisket. Allow the meat to marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight in the refrigerator for best results.

Cooking

3

Smoke the Meats

Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). Place the seasoned meats in the smoker and smoke for about 4-5 hours, or until the internal temperature of the meats reaches 190°F (88°C) for the ribs and brisket, and 165°F (74°C) for the chicken.

Sides Preparation

4

Make the Sides

Prepare coleslaw, baked beans, cornbread, and macaroni and cheese according to your favorite recipes or package instructions.

Serving

5

Serve the Meal

Once the meats are cooked, let them rest for 10 minutes. Slice the brisket, and serve all meats family-style with the sides and barbecue sauce on the side.
