Method

Salads

  1. 1

    Prepare Caesar Salad

Chop the Romaine lettuce and toss it with Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, and croutons. Divide into two servings.

Crab Cakes

  1. 2

    Make Crab Cakes

In a bowl, combine crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, egg, and breadcrumbs. Form into cakes and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Heat olive oil in a pan and cook the cakes for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Filet Mignon

  1. 3

    Cook Filet Mignon

Season the filet mignon with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Let rest before serving.

Sides

  1. 4

Prepare Roasted New Potatoes and Grilled Asparagus

Boil the new potatoes until tender, then toss with butter and season with salt. For asparagus, grill until tender-crisp, about 5-7 minutes.

  2. 5

    Prepare Hollandaise Sauce

Whisk egg yolks and lemon juice in a double boiler until thickened. Gradually whisk in melted butter until smooth.

Dessert

  1. 6

    Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Melt chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler. Dip strawberries in melted chocolate and allow to set on parchment paper.
