Turkey and Ham Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Turkey

Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Season the turkey with salt, pepper, and sage. Roast in the oven for about 2-3 hours until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Ham

In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and Dijon mustard. Brush the mixture over the ham. Heat the ham in the oven for 1 hour until warmed through.

Stuffing Preparation

  1. 3

    Cook the Sausage

In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.

  2. 4

    Prepare the Stuffing

In the same skillet, sauté celery and onion until soft. In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, sausage, sautéed vegetables, chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Mix well and place in a baking dish. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes.

    Cook the Potatoes

Boil the peeled and cubed potatoes in salted water until tender, about 20 minutes. Drain and return to pot.

Add butter and milk to the potatoes and mash until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

In a saucepan, combine turkey drippings and flour over medium heat. Whisk until smooth, then gradually add water to reach desired consistency.
