Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Turkey

Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Season the turkey with salt, pepper, and herbs. Roast for about 2 to 2.5 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Let it rest before slicing.

  2. 2

    Make the Stuffing

In a skillet, cook the sage sausage until browned. In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, cooked sausage, onion, celery, and chicken broth. Mix well and transfer to a baking dish. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Mashed Potatoes

Boil the peeled and chopped potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and mash with butter, milk, salt, and pepper to taste.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Sweet Potatoes

Boil the peeled and chopped sweet potatoes until tender, then mash with a little brown sugar and butter.

  5. 5

    Cook the Green Beans

Steam the green beans until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

  6. 6

    Heat the Gravy

Heat the turkey gravy on the stove until hot before serving.

  7. 7

    Serve with Cranberry Sauce

Serve the sliced turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, turkey gravy, and cranberry sauce.

  8. 8

    Dessert

Serve slices of apple or pumpkin pie as dessert.
