Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Spiral Ham

Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Place the spiral ham in a roasting pan and score the surface in a diamond pattern. Mix the brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, and ground cloves to create a glaze. Brush the glaze over the ham and cover with foil. Bake for about 15 minutes per pound, basting occasionally.

  2. 2

    Make the Sage-Sausage Stuffing

In a skillet, cook the ground sausage over medium heat until browned. Add onions and celery, cooking until softened. In a large bowl, combine sausage mixture with bread cubes, sage, salt, and pepper. Gradually add chicken broth until the desired moisture is achieved. Transfer to a baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Mashed Potatoes

Boil the quartered potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and return to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Sweet Potatoes

Boil sweet potatoes until tender, drain, and mash with brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.

  5. 5

    Sauté the Green Beans

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and green beans, sauté until tender-crisp. Season with salt and pepper.

  6. 6

    Make the Cranberry Sauce

In a saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil, then simmer until cranberries burst and sauce thickens, about 10-15 minutes.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve the Meal

Slice the ham and serve it alongside the stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, and cranberry sauce. Offer slices of apple or pumpkin pie for dessert.

    Reheat Your Meal

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cover the ham and side dishes with foil and heat until warmed through, approximately 20-30 minutes.
