Method
Prepare the Chicken
- 1
Season the Chicken
In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Rub the mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
- 2
Grill the Chicken
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Cook the Pasta
- 3
Boil Water
In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add 1 tablespoon of salt.
- 4
Cook Spaghetti
Add the spaghetti to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Make the Alfredo Sauce
- 5
Melt Butter and Sauté Garlic
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- 6
Add Cream and Cheese
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper.
Combine and Serve
- 7
Mix Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked spaghetti to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly.
- 8
Plate the Dish
Serve the pasta on plates, top with sliced grilled chicken, and sprinkle with shaved Parmesan cheese and roasted red pepper flakes to taste.
