Method
Preparation of Salad Base

Wash and Chop Lettuce
Rinse the romaine lettuce under cold water. Shake off excess water and chop it into bite-sized pieces.
Preparation of Dressing

Prepare Dressing
In a bowl, mince the garlic and anchovy fillets together until they form a paste. Add the Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice, and mix well.

Incorporate Olive Oil
Slowly whisk in the olive oil until the dressing is well combined and emulsified.

Season Dressing
Add salt and black pepper to taste. Adjust seasoning as needed.
Assembly

Combine Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, place the chopped romaine lettuce. Pour the dressing over the lettuce and toss until well coated.

Add Cheese and Croutons
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese and croutons over the top of the salad. Toss gently to combine all ingredients.
