Method

Prepare the Croutons

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Bread

Cut the bread into cubes, approximately 1-inch in size.

  3. 3

    Season the Bread

In a mixing bowl, combine the bread cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt. Toss until evenly coated.

  4. 4

    Bake the Croutons

Spread the seasoned bread cubes on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crunchy. Stir halfway through to ensure even baking.

Make the Caesar Dressing

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

  2. 6

    Taste and Adjust

Taste the dressing and adjust the seasoning with more salt, pepper, or lemon juice if desired.

Assemble the Salad

  1. 7

    Prepare the Lettuce

Rinse the Romaine lettuce under cold water and pat dry. Chop into bite-sized pieces and place in a large salad bowl.

  2. 8

    Add Cheese and Dressing

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the lettuce. Drizzle the creamy Caesar dressing over the top.

  3. 9

    Toss the Salad

Gently toss the salad to combine all the ingredients evenly.

  4. 10

    Top with Croutons

Add the homemade croutons on top of the salad just before serving.
