Main Ingredient

Method

Grilling the Chicken

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F or 190°C).

  3. 3

    Grill the Chicken

Place the seasoned chicken thighs on the grill and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

  4. 4

    Add BBQ Sauce

During the last 2-3 minutes of grilling, brush the chicken generously with BBQ sauce, ensuring an even coating.

  5. 5

    Rest the Chicken

Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Preparing the Sides

  1. 6

    Cook the Corn

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the corn on the cob and cook for about 5-7 minutes until tender. Remove from water and set aside.

  2. 7

    Make the Coleslaw

In a large bowl, combine the coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.

  3. 8

    Chill the Coleslaw

Cover the coleslaw and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
