Chop the Vegetables
Dice the red and green bell peppers into bite-sized pieces. Cut the broccoli florets into smaller pieces. Peel the carrot and slice it into thin rounds. Trim the ends of the snap peas and set aside. Chop the onion into thin slices. Mince the garlic cloves.

Mix the Sauce
In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water. Mix well until the cornstarch is completely dissolved. Set aside.

Stir-Fry the Vegetables
Heat a large wok or non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add a splash of oil (optional) and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the chopped onion and stir-fry for another 2 minutes until it becomes translucent.

Add Sauce
Pour the prepared sauce over the stir-fried vegetables. Stir well to coat all the vegetables in the sauce. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with black pepper to taste.
Serving

Once cooked, remove from heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve hot as a side dish or over rice as a main course.
