For the Ribs

Method

For the Ribs

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rinse the ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Apply Dry Rub

In a small bowl, mix together the dry rub seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.

  3. 3

    Cook the Ribs

Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until the ribs are tender.

  4. 4

    Glaze with Barbecue Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully unwrap the foil. Brush a generous amount of barbecue sauce over the top of the ribs.

  5. 5

    Finish on the Grill

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Transfer the sauced ribs to the grill and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes until the sauce is caramelized and bubbly.

For the Chicken

  1. 6

    Prepare the Chicken

While the ribs are cooking, prepare the chicken. If using chicken breasts, pound them to an even thickness for uniform cooking.

  2. 7

    Season the Chicken

In a bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Rub this mixture over the chicken breasts or tenders.

  3. 8

    Cook the Chicken

Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the chicken is cooked through.
