Method

Crust Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crust

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined and the mixture resembles wet sand.

  2. 2

    Form the Crust

Press the crust mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form an even layer. Use the bottom of a measuring cup for a smooth finish.

  3. 3

    Bake the Crust

Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then remove and let it cool while you prepare the filling.

Filling Preparation

  1. 4

    Mix the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until creamy and smooth. Gradually add in the granulated sugar and mix until well combined.

  2. 5

    Add Remaining Ingredients

Add the sour cream, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and eggs (one at a time) to the cream cheese mixture, mixing until smooth and fully incorporated after each addition.

  3. 6

    Pour Filling Over Crust

Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust in the springform pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.

  4. 7

    Bake the Cheesecake

Bake in the preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and crack the door, allowing the cheesecake to cool in the oven for an hour.

  5. 8

    Cool and Chill

Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.

Topping Preparation

  1. 9

    Prepare the Topping

Before serving, arrange the sliced fresh strawberries on top of the chilled cheesecake.

  2. 10

    Add Strawberry Glaze

Drizzle the strawberry glaze over the sliced strawberries for a beautiful finish.
