Method
Wings Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Season and Coat
In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Toss the chicken wings in the flour mixture until fully coated.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 4
Fry the Wings
Carefully add the coated chicken wings to the hot oil, frying them in batches if necessary. Fry for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 5
Drain and Toss
Remove the wings from the oil and drain on paper towels. In a large bowl, toss the hot wings with the buffalo sauce until fully coated.
Blue Cheese Dressing Preparation
- 6
Mix the Dressing Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the blue cheese crumbles, mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- 7
Blend Until Smooth
Using a fork or whisk, mix the ingredients until well combined and smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- 8
Chill the Dressing
Cover the blue cheese dressing and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
