Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the thick cut bacon slices until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Once cooked, transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease and cool, then chop into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Chop the Vegetables

While the bacon is cooking, wash and dry the baby iceberg lettuce. Cut it into quarters and place each wedge on a serving plate. Slice the cucumber into rounds, chop the tomato into wedges, and thinly slice the red onion.

Assembly

  1. 3

    Assemble the Salad

On each wedge of iceberg lettuce, layer the chopped cucumber, tomato, and red onion. Sprinkle the crispy bacon pieces on top, followed by the crumbled blue cheese.

  2. 4

    Add Dressing

Drizzle the blue cheese dressing generously over the top of each wedge salad.
