Brisket Preparation
- 1
Season the Brisket
Rub the beef brisket with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Ensure the brisket is evenly coated with the seasoning.
- 2
Prepare the Cooking Liquid
In a bowl, combine beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and liquid smoke. Stir well to combine.
- 3
Cook the Brisket
Place the seasoned brisket in a slow cooker. Pour the prepared cooking liquid over the brisket. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the brisket is tender.
- 4
Rest and Slice
Once cooked, remove the brisket from the slow cooker and let it rest for 15-20 minutes. Slice against the grain into thin slices.
