Baked Beans

Method

Baked Beans

  1. 1

    Prepare Ingredients

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, keeping the drippings in the skillet.

  2. 2

    Combine Ingredients

In the skillet with bacon drippings, add the diced onion and cook until soft. In a large mixing bowl, combine the canned baked beans, brown sugar, ketchup, yellow mustard, cooked bacon, and sautéed onions.

  3. 3

    Bake the Beans

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake uncovered for 30-40 minutes, until bubbly and heated through.

Potato Salad

  1. 4

    Cook Potatoes

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the diced potatoes and cook until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and let cool.

  2. 5

    Mix Salad

In a large bowl, combine cooled potatoes, mayonnaise, mustard, diced celery, sliced green onions, salt, pepper, and chopped hard-boiled eggs. Stir well to combine.

  3. 6

    Chill and Serve

Cover and refrigerate the potato salad for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Cole Slaw

  1. 7

    Mix Vegetables

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and shredded carrots.

  2. 8

    Prepare Dressing

In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.

  3. 9

    Combine and Chill

Pour dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Green Beans

  1. 10

    Prepare Green Beans

Rinse and trim the fresh green beans, removing the ends.

  2. 11

    Sauté Beans

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add green beans and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.

  3. 12

    Season and Serve

Season with salt and pepper, and serve immediately.

Pasta Salad

  1. 13

    Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, halved cherry tomatoes, diced cucumber, black olives, and crumbled feta cheese.

  2. 14

    Dress the Salad

Pour the Italian dressing over the salad mixture and toss to coat evenly.

  3. 15

    Chill and Serve

Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to enhance the flavors.
