Method

Pasta Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Linguine

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Seafood and Sauce

  1. 2

    Sauté Garlic and Prepare Sauce

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red chili flakes, sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  2. 3

    Add the Tomatoes

Pour in the canned crushed tomatoes, stirring to combine. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Bring the sauce to a simmer.

  3. 4

    Cook the Seafood

Add the salmon fillets to the sauce, skin side down. Allow to cook for 3-4 minutes. Next, add the shrimp, mussels, and clams. Cover the skillet and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked through and clams and mussels have opened.

Combine and Serve

  1. 5

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Once the seafood is cooked, add the cooked linguine to the skillet, tossing gently to coat the pasta with the sauce and seafood.

  2. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from heat and stir in the chopped fresh basil. Serve immediately, garnished with additional basil if desired.
