Fudgy Double Chocolate Cake

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Stir in the boiling water until the batter is smooth.

Add Chocolate Chips
Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.

Bake the Cake
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Blend Ingredients
In a blender, combine the Wilcoxson's chocolate ice cream, whole milk, and chocolate syrup. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Pour the milkshake into tall glasses. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with chocolate shavings if desired.
