Method

Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patty

In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form the mixture into a patty about 1 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Beef Patty

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the beef patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired doneness.

Sautéed Mushrooms

  1. 3

    Sauté the Mushrooms

In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  2. 4

    Add Garlic and Season

Add minced garlic, salt, and black pepper to the mushrooms. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and the garlic is fragrant.

Burger Assembly

  1. 5

    Toast the Potato Roll

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Place the potato roll cut-side down in the skillet and toast until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.

  2. 6

    Assemble the Burger

Place the cooked beef patty on the bottom half of the toasted potato roll. Top with sautéed mushrooms and a slice of Swiss cheese. Cover with the top half of the roll.

  3. 7

    Serve

Serve the mushroom and Swiss burger immediately with your favorite side.
