Method

Preparing the Tea

  1. 1

    Boil the Water

In a kettle, bring 4 cups of filtered water to a rolling boil. Make sure to use fresh, cold water for the best flavor.

  2. 2

    Select Your Tea

Choose any of the assorted teas (black, green, herbal, oolong, or white) based on your preference. Use 2 teaspoons of the selected tea leaves or tea bags.

  3. 3

    Steep the Tea

Once the water has reached a boil, remove it from heat. Place the tea leaves or bags into your teapot or cup. Pour the hot water over the tea and let it steep for the recommended time (3-5 minutes for black tea, 2-3 minutes for green tea, 5-7 minutes for herbal tea, 3-5 minutes for oolong tea, and 4-5 minutes for white tea).

Enhancing Flavor

  1. 4

    Add Flavor Enhancements

After steeping, remove the tea leaves or tea bags. Add honey, lemon juice, and milk or cream to taste. Stir well to combine the flavors.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve the Tea

Pour the tea into cups and serve hot. Enjoy your assorted Tumblewood teas with your favorite enhancements.
