Preparing the Tea

Boil the Water
In a kettle, bring 4 cups of filtered water to a rolling boil. Make sure to use fresh, cold water for the best flavor.

Select Your Tea
Choose any of the assorted teas (black, green, herbal, oolong, or white) based on your preference. Use 2 teaspoons of the selected tea leaves or tea bags.

Steep the Tea
Once the water has reached a boil, remove it from heat. Place the tea leaves or bags into your teapot or cup. Pour the hot water over the tea and let it steep for the recommended time (3-5 minutes for black tea, 2-3 minutes for green tea, 5-7 minutes for herbal tea, 3-5 minutes for oolong tea, and 4-5 minutes for white tea).
