Tacos
- 1
Prepare the Protein
In a medium skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- 2
Add Seasoning
Stir in the taco seasoning and a splash of water (about 2-3 tablespoons). Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- 3
Warm the Tortillas
In a separate pan, warm the corn tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds each side until pliable.
- 4
Assemble the Tacos
Fill each tortilla with the seasoned beef, followed by shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, and jalapeños.
Rice
- 5
Rinse the Rice
Rinse the long-grain rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- 6
Cook the Rice
In a medium pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the rinsed rice and salt. Stir, cover, and reduce heat to low. Cook for 18-20 minutes until the water is absorbed.
Beans

Prepare the Beans
Open the can of black beans and rinse them under cold water.
- 8
Heat the Beans
