Lobster Filling
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Lobster Filling
In a large bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat, mayonnaise, finely chopped celery, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- 2
Toast the Rolls
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Split the hot dog rolls down the middle, being careful not to cut all the way through. Brush the outside of the rolls with melted butter. Place them on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown.
- 3
Assemble the Hot Lobster Rolls
Remove the toasted rolls from the oven. Spoon a generous amount of the lobster filling into each roll. Optionally, you can sprinkle some additional Old Bay seasoning on top.
- 4
Serve
Serve the hot lobster rolls immediately, with lemon wedges on the side if desired.
