Boil Pasta
In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add salt. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Preparing Shrimp

Season and Sauté Shrimp
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sprinkle Cajun seasoning over the shrimp, then add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
Making Cream Sauce

Prepare the Sauce
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and black pepper, cooking until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens slightly.

Combine Pasta, Shrimp, and Sauce
Once the sauce has thickened, add the cooked fettuccine and sautéed shrimp to the skillet. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated in the creamy sauce.
