Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Vegetables
Wash and dry the lettuce thoroughly. Tear the lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Slice the tomato into thin rounds.
- 2
Prepare the Meats and Cheese
Layer the cotto ham, genoa salami, mortadella, hot capicola, and smoked provolone in the order of your preference on a cutting board.
- 3
Prepare the Bread
Slice the sub sandwich roll horizontally, making sure not to cut all the way through. This will create a hinge for the sandwich.

Layer the Ingredients
On the bottom half of the roll, layer the cotto ham first, followed by the genoa salami, mortadella, hot capicola, and then the smoked provolone.
- 6
Add the Vegetables
Top the meats and cheese with the lettuce, sliced tomato, and sprinkle the Calabrian chili over the top.
Final Touch

Close and Serve
Close the sandwich by folding the top half over the fillings. Press down gently to secure. Cut the sandwich in half if desired and serve immediately.
