Prepare the Steamer
Fill a large pot with water, add salt, and bring to a rolling boil.

Steam the Lobster
Once the water is boiling, carefully add the lobster to the pot. Cover and steam for about 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster is bright red and the meat is opaque.

Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat until fully melted. Remove from heat and set aside.

Serve
Carefully remove the lobster from the pot and place on a serving platter. Serve hot with melted butter on the side and lemon wedges if desired.
