Marinade
Steak
Method
Marinade Preparation
- 1
Combine Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, black pepper, and salt. Whisk together until well blended.
- 2
Marinate the Steak
Place the ribeye steaks in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steaks, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
Grilling the Steak
- 3
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F to 500°F) for at least 10-15 minutes.
- 4
Remove from Marinade
Take the marinated ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator and remove them from the marinade. Let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before grilling.
- 5
Grill the Steak
Place the ribeye steaks on the hot grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until they reach your desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer for best results (130°F for medium-rare).
- 6
Rest the Steak
Once cooked, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute.
