Chile Sauce

Method

Grilled Tuna

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tuna

Rub the sushi grade tuna steaks with olive oil, salt, and black pepper on both sides. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Tuna

Preheat the grill to high heat. Place the marinated tuna steaks on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove from grill and let rest.

Coconut Rice

  1. 3

    Cook the Rice

In a medium saucepan, combine jasmine rice, coconut milk, water, and salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed. Fluff with a fork before serving.

Avocado

  1. 4

    Prepare the Avocado

Slice the ripe avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Add lime juice and salt to taste. Mash gently with a fork to create a chunky guacamole.

Pineapple Salsa

  1. 5

    Make the Salsa

In a bowl, combine diced pineapple, red onion, cilantro, minced jalapeño, lime juice, and salt to taste. Mix well and let it sit for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Chile Sauce

  1. 6

    Prepare the Chile Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together chili paste, soy sauce, honey, and lime juice until well combined. Adjust the seasoning if necessary.
